In Case You Think the Trump Rallies Are Irresponsible….

In a fair world, and if these were normal times, I might agree with you.

But this is not a fair world, and these are not normal times. 

Donald Trump is not fighting just the Biden Campaign.  He is up against the massively powerful and rabidly partisan [propaganda] news media as well as the Big Tech puppet masters who control social media, a combined force of incomparable power.  Think Rambo versus an army of local, state and federal government forces led by corrupt people grossly abusing their power.  You didn't need to love Rambo to cheer him on, nor do you need to love Donald Trump to appreciate the blatant unfairness of this campaign battle.  This is David versus Goliath.  The so-called “mainstream” press has refused to inform their readers about anything negative on Joe Biden while conversely refusing to print anything positive about Donald Trump.  Twitter and Face Book have been notoriously censoring conservatives and negative news about Joe Biden.  This rampant abuse of power and guerilla warfare has left Trump with no choice but to surrender or take his message directly to the American people by the only means he has left - his rallies.  If COVID spreads because the Left has played dirty and done everything in its power to prevent Trump from getting his message to the American people by less risky means, I hold the corrupt Left, not Trump, wholly responsible for that.  The media will not fight Trump’s battles while he hides in a basement like Joe Biden, and yet the battle must be fought.

My “White Privilege” is Your Disgusting Excuse for Victimhood

“Everyone hates me.”

“The world is out to get me.”

“I just have bad luck.” 

“But you can make it up to me by giving me everything I want...” 

Sometimes people embrace victimhood when they don’t want to take responsibility for what’s wrong with their lives - for the choices they’ve made, for the things they did or didn’t do (or don’t want to do), for the failures they would rather not analyze or own. 

That’s pretty much the mentality at the root of the “white privilege” canard.  It’s a term invented for the purpose of giving an entire race justification for self-pity, for wallowing in resentment and for never facing the truth about the self-destructive norms that have become entrenched in much of its community over the past 50 years (thanks to a lot of help from meddling liberals).  And for those who are a bit more calculating, “white privilege” is the natural segue into talk of reparations, i.e. taking money from people who never had slaves and giving it to people who never were slaves. 

There’s a very long list of successful black Americans.  Barack and Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Michael Jordan, Will Smith, Clarence Thomas, Tiger Woods, Ben Carson, Loretta Lynch, Tony Dungy, Herman Cain, Colin Powell and Thomas Sowell, just off the top of my head, are proof that today Americans are happy to reward talent and skill irrespective of race (and gender, for that matter), and this list doesn’t include the millions of black Americans who may not be celebrities but who are just as successful as any middle class white American.  Are we supposed to believe that the children of the Obamas or Will Smith or Tiger Woods are less “privileged” than millions of other children in this country born to parents without fame or fortune?  How is it possible that all of these people have achieved success when they aren’t “privileged” by virtue of their skin color?  And here’s another good question:  how is it that the “privilege” of being white hasn’t spared millions of Caucasians from the clutches of poverty, the misery of drug abuse or the despair of a prison cell?

Now that we’ve established that “privilege” isn’t necessarily tied to race, how else can we explain the reality that whites, on average, fare better economically than blacks even though the playing field has been evened out legally for more than half a century now?  Everyone knows the answer to that question, but few are honest enough to say it out loud.  You see, my dear Virginia, “privilege” doesn’t come from race.  In most cases it comes from the manner of our upbringing, which – by and large – is defined by the norms of our culture:  our attitudes towards sex, family, education, work, respect for the law, etc., etc., etc.  Children tend to have the best shot at success when they grow up with two loving, involved parents who are good role models, economic stability, a safe and strong community, commitment to education, belief in personal responsibility and the goal of economic security by learning a trade or profession.  This type of  upbringing does not guarantee success. Nothing can do that.  But, it sure helps. 

Generally speaking white children are more likely than black children to grow up in something resembling this environment, but expressing this out loud is considered blasphemy to those for whom the truth is, well…, inconvenient to other agendas.  Better to blame “white privilege” than to risk the backlash of the black community and liberal politicians who don’t want their own culpability to come into question.  If there is “white privilege” no one will look to the black community to fix itself.  “White privilege” is easy and potentially lucrative.  Self-examination is uncomfortable and requires patience and honesty.

Does this mean that there’s absolutely no such thing as “white privilege?”  Actually, yes, because the term “white privilege” suggests a benefit that is universal to the white race, and yet I just easily demonstrated to you that,  based upon easily observable realities, there is no such thing as universal race-based “privilege.”  Ever wonder how we went from talking about “racial discrimination” to talking about “white privilege (kind of like how we went from talking about “global warming” to “climate change”)?”  If you think that was an accident, then you’re very naïve.  Nothing is accidental when it involves the “woke” agendas of leftists and race agitators.  Nothing.  “Racial discrimination” put the target on the act of discriminating.  It was more objective and easier to quantify.  That was problematic because discrimination can be (and was) outlawed.  But “white privilege” assigns a blanket of guilt to an entire race.  You can stop discriminating.  You can’t stop being white.  So the problem can never be resolved, which makes it a very valuable political weapon that can be wielded in perpetuity.  Are you beginning to understand yet?

“But!” you object, “I’m a middle-class white person and I believe in white privilege.  How does that fit your theory when I have nothing to gain from reparations?”

Oh, that’s easy.  If you’re white and you still buy into the “white privilege” canard despite the logic I cited above, then this means you’re a liberal or a leftist, and what you gain from jumping on the “white privilege” bandwagon is gratification of your liberal/leftist ego.  You’re now in the “woke” club, chastising the sins of your own kind (smugly knowing, of course, that the sin does not apply to you) and feeling self-righteous about your own superiority.  Oh yes, that kind of gratification is better than gold to a liberal or leftist. 

Racism exists, as does sexism and ageism and a lot of other isms.  It will never be eradicated because it is natural to humans – in a wide range of varying degrees – to feel more comfortable around those who look like us, generally speaking.  White people tend to have white friends.  Black people tend to have black friends.  We gravitate towards those we can relate to because of shared experiences.  I’m not excusing real racism but never will I join the throngs of white apologists who so desperately want to be lauded as “woke” that they are eagerly becoming part of The Great Lie.  Broad, systemic attitudes towards other races are based on stereotypes, and stereotypes are often rooted in some truth.  In the U.S., blacks commit murder at nearly eight times the rate of whites.  That’s a fact according to the FBI.  Every week or so there’s a news report about the number of people shot and/or killed on the streets of Chicago.  Almost always the victims are black.  Almost always the shooters are black.  It is UNREASONABLE to require the world to pretend not to see the reality (never mind that so many do), but that is what is demanded of us.  And yet on the other side, a small fraction of our nation’s cops do detestable things, and not only are all cops under indictment but our entire nation is condemned as inherently racist.  Pot, meet kettle….

Sorry, I won’t go along with that. 

We are living in dangerous times.  I’ve done this long enough to know that when I find myself stating the obvious, I’m wasting my time with people who are either deceitfully disingenuous or willfully blind to the truth, and that happens when people have motives that are not best served by the truth.  Maybe you’d like to take a moment to ponder what those motives are…

The Truth: Why I Don’t Care About Trump’s Phone Call to Ukraine

We just want to save the country from Trump.  Really!

Democrats are feigning moral outrage over Trump’s phone call pressuring the president of Ukraine to investigate the actions of former Vice President Joe Biden with respect to Biden’s questionable actions there.  

So let me see if I have this right:

We are supposed to believe that the party which rammed Obamacare down the throats of Americans in spite of its glaring contradictions with the spirit and intent of the Constitution has suddenly developed great reverence for the Constitution.  We are supposed to believe that the party of sanctuary cities and blind “resistance” has suddenly discovered its deep concern for the citizens of the country they are sworn to represent.  We are supposed to believe that the party which used every trick in the book to convince their constituents that first George W. Bush and then Donald Trump were illegitimate presidents now weeps over the state of our “divided” nation.  We are supposed to believe that the party which abused its power to spy on an opposing presidential campaign and that fueled a “Russia-collusion” hoax now sincerely fears for the health of our democracy.  We are supposed to believe that the party that tried to elect Hillary Clinton suddenly has no tolerance for perceived corruption. 

Maybe you can believe that the party which uttered nary a word when Barack Obama was caught on mic whispering to the Russian president, “Tell Vlad I’ll have more flexibility after the election,” has discovered patriotism at last, but I don’t buy it.  Call me a cynic if you want to. 

There are those who think Trump’s actions rise to the level of impeachment and those who do not (the opinions of the Left don’t merit consideration as they have consistently proven themselves to be incapable of fair-mindedness or objectivity).  I’m not here to debate whether Trump’s actions were impeachable or not because – frankly - I don’t give a damn, and the reason I don’t give a damn is because we are a nation at war.  If you don’t understand that yet, then you aren’t paying attention.

I once remarked to a leftist blogger in an exchange at Fox News that there was a war being waged between the Left and the rest of America to which he incredulously demanded to know how there could be a war when there wasn’t any blood.  I laughed out loud reading such a childish comment.  It’s very helpful to the Left that Americans have been trained to believe that as long as there is no blood, there is no war.  It keeps us complacent, like the humans used for fuel while they blissfully slumbered in The Matrix.  But what is the objective of war?  The ultimate goal is to seize power, to wrest control.  As I write this the Left is very busy scheming to do just that, and I’m not only talking about the Deep State’s infamous efforts to undermine the election of Donald Trump and the Left’s determination to find some reason – any reason - to impeach him since day one.  That’s only the tip of the iceberg.  I’m talking about Democrat schemes like ballot harvesting, which they used to tip the scales for Democrats in California in 2018, all while feeding us a phony narrative about wanting “election security.”  I’m talking about the unconstitutional National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which requires presidential electors in participating states to heed the results of the national popular vote, not the will of the voters in their own state.  I’m talking about the push by self-serving leftists to get rid of the electoral college so that Democrat enclaves in a few urban districts will have the pleasure of deciding things for all 50 of our United States.  I’m talking about the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), an organization headed by far left schemers Eric Holder and Barack Obama to create voting districts that favor Democrats (i.e. gerrymandering), all while denouncing Republicans as corrupt for….wait for it….gerrymandering!  You can read more about that here.  I’m talking about the Left’s flagrant, unapologetic abuse of its power in the media which it uses to misinform and brainwash, as well as the Left’s domination and abuse of social media companies such as Google, Facebook and Twitter which manipulate and police speech to advance the Left’s agenda.  I’m talking about the schemes of leftists like George Soros to imbed our courts with activist judges who will protect the agenda rather than the law or the Constitution.  Even something as seemingly straight forward as the U.S. Census has been politicized to prevent truth and facts from interfering with the Left’s schemes to grow their power. 

Everywhere we look the Left is planning, plotting and secretly scheming to surreptitiously stack the deck in their favor.  That sounds like war to me. 

If this were baseball, the Left would be moving the bases and bribing the umpires.  Who wants to play under those conditions?  And yet we have no choice.  Democrats reading this will scoff and point to examples of Republicans’ “dirty tricks.”  That’s the way they’ve been brainwashed all of their lives to see it.  But when you’re forced to play ball against a team that cheats and secures its advantage with activist referees, you’re left with little choice but to play the game by their standards.  Successful corruption breeds more corruption, which is why there are so many nations that are hopelessly mired in it.  Do I like it?  Of course not, but the Left is determined to have it this way because they simply cannot win a fair fight, and god forbid they shouldn’t win, since power and control are what they live for.

Did Trump do a bad thing by asking the president of Ukraine to look into Joe Biden’s shenanigans and to seemingly tie our financial assistance to his request?  Until we’re all held to the same standards and all equally upholding the Constitution, frankly I don’t give a damn.

Dear Limousine Liberals: Here’s Why Your Hypocrisy Matters

It seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, are catching heat from some in the British press for their self-indulgent travel habits, and some of their celebrity friends are annoyed with the criticism of their royal pals.

Meghan and Harry – like so many liberal celebrities – are using their celebrity privilege (kind of like “white privilege,” except it’s a real thing) to speak out against the purported dangers of human-induced climate change, even as they trot around the globe in the most luxurious style to indulge their own whims and pleasure.   An article in Fox News last month cited the following:

“[The Duke and Duchess] reportedly flew from Farnborough, U.K., to Ibiza, Spain, on Aug. 6, then back on Aug. 12.  On Aug. 14, they flew from Farnborough to Nice, France, to visit Elton John, then back to Farnborough on Aug. 17.  The couple is believed to have taken a Gulfstream 200, which seats 19 people, to Ibiza from Farnborough, and a Cessna 500 XL, which seats nine, on their return trip.”

Apparently some in the British press don’t understand that Harry and Meghan are special people who have important things to do, unlike the rest of us commoners.  Ellen DeGeneres took to Twitter to scold the critics for pointing out the pair’s hypocrisy.  Harry and Meghan “…just want to make the world better,” DeGeneres admonished.  She knows this because she and her wife recently flew to England to meet with the royals so that the two couples could congratulate themselves on their shared passion for the environment. 

Elton John also chimed in to rebuke the British press:

“After a hectic year continuing their hard work and dedication to charity, David and I wanted the young family to have a private holiday inside the safety and tranquility of our home.  To maintain a high level of much-needed protection, we provided them with a private jet flight. To support Prince Harry’s commitment to the environment, we ensured their flight was carbon neutral, by making the appropriate contribution to Carbon Footprint.  I highly respect and applaud both Harry and Meghan’s commitment to charity and I’m calling on the press to cease these relentless and untrue assassinations on their character…”

You see?  Harry and Meghan deserve to waste fossil fuels – as all leftist celebrities do, apparently – because Harry and Meghan behave in a manner that is approved by the leftist elite.  They espouse all of the correct opinions.  They associate with all the right people (or should I say, the Left people?)  They are in the club.  The media is supposed to keep quiet about their hypocrisy, just as they kept quiet when  Barack ‘the science is settled’ Obama and his Mrs. purchased yet another mansion, this time in Martha’s vineyard.  It will be a relaxing place for him to ponder the question, “At what point will I have made enough money?” while he is busy wheeling and dealing to amass his post-presidency riches and conspiring with his minions to further undermine our republic.

Don’t let my attempt at lighthearted satire fool you.  I am filled with deep-seated rage at the elitist Left who think they are too special to live by the same conditions they want to impose upon the rest of us, while they bask in a faux sense of sainthood because they care so much more about the environment than we do.  It is imperative that we – the commoners – make it abundantly clear that we won’t stand for it.  We will not live by one set of rules while the Left reserves a different set of rules for themselves, therefore I hereby declare the following:

If satisfying an important personal desire is a good enough reason for the elites to ignore their impact on the environment, then my personal goals and desires are good enough reason for me to do so as well.  If the desire to maximize their comfort, safety or security is sufficient reason for the elites to set aside their worries over the environment, then my own desire to maximize my comfort, safety or security is sufficient reason as well.  If the elites believe they are entitled to enjoy the wonders of this Earth to whatever extent their pocketbooks will allow, then I am entitled to do the same.  And let me be very clear on this:  the elitist’s notion of creating a market of “carbon offsets” so that they can get around the rules that they want to impose upon the rest of us is pure bullshit.

The elitists are trying their best to fulfill the dark prophecy depicted by George Orwell in his widely-read but sadly forgotten classic novel, Animal Farm: 

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

This is why your hypocrisy matters, and it’s why we won’t let you get away with it.

In El Paso, Democrats Show Us How Low They Can Go

“Saying that President Trump has ‘fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation,’ Democratic presidential primary front-runner Joe Biden on Wednesday will directly link the president to the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas.”  ~Fox News, August 7, 2019

Long ago I concluded that the lowest form of criminal is the person who tries to pin his crime on another innocent person.  A lot of people are capable of doing the wrong thing, but it takes a special kind of corruption – a person devoid of conscience – to watch innocent people suffer for your own crimes.  That’s what’s on my mind with respect to the mass killings that took place in El Paso last week, and the Left’s mad rush to try and direct blame onto Donald Trump. 

Democrats say it was Trump’s anti-illegal immigrant rhetoric that stirred the El Paso shooter’s anger towards illegal immigrants (actually if democrats were telling this story they would have deceitfully left out the word “illegal,” but for the sake of brevity we’ll have to ignore their duplicity for a moment).  What they’ve argued, in a nutshell, is that anger inspired the shooter’s actions, therefore whoever inspired that anger is to blame for his crimes.  I wonder if the finger-pointers would stand by their self-serving logic after I’ve adeptly explained why it is they, not Trump, who are responsible for the rage that the shooter was feeling.

First, let’s understand something about the relationship between anger and frustration.  Frustration, “a deep chronic sense or state of insecurity and dissatisfaction arising from unresolved problems or unfulfilled needs,” leads to anger.  Consider the example of the child who is treated differently from a favored sibling, i.e., held to a higher standard of behavior, punished for behaviors that the favored child is allowed to get away with, deprived of nice things that are offered to the favored child.  Imagine that child’s frustration due to his impotence over his situation.  What kind of feelings do you suppose this engenders in the mistreated child towards the favored sibling?  One would imagine that he must harbor great resentment, especially if the favored child wallows in the favoritism and is indifferent to his sibling’s pain.  Who is ultimately responsible for the child’s frustration and anger?  “The parents” is the logical answer.  They are the ones who have created this sick situation over which the child has no control, and that responsibility doesn’t shift if an outside observer points out to the mistreated child that he has every reason to be angry.

Now let’s look at who is responsible for the sick situation of illegal immigration in this nation that has frustrated most Americans.

The ILLEGAL immigration problem in this country has been continuously worsening since after WWII, when labor shortages (real or perceived) led millions of Mexican workers to come to the U.S., some illegally and some on temporary work permits.  When the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 was passed and led to a wave of legal immigration as well as a huge shift in the origins of immigrants, the U.S. put a halt to the temporary worker permits for Mexican laborers, but migrants in search of work continued to come illegally.  We all know that the growing problem of illegal immigration ultimately led to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 under which Ronald Reagan, in a deal with the devil (Ted Kennedy) infamously granted amnesty for nearly three million illegal immigrants.  Thus began the age of the Left’s recognition of the value of immigration as a political weapon and as a source of division among Americans that proved helpful to Team Democrat.  The power to frustrate conservatives is an intoxicating drug to the Left; consequently, in the pursuant years they have added fuel to our frustration by heaping one reward after another onto those who trespass here.  We are forced by law to educate the children of those who trespass here illegally, and the doors of our hospitals must be opened to illegals, regardless of how it increases the cost – or the wait – for those of us who pay the bills; if illegals commit crimes or their children become gang members who threaten the safety of Americans, that’s too bad.

Then came the Left’s typical sly strategy of linguistic slight-of-hand.  The illegals have become the “undocumented.”  This is supposed to make us forget that we are talking about criminals - people who disrespect our sovereignty, ignore our laws and take advantage of us.  And because the Left is enjoying our frustration so much, they will show us who’s boss by declaring our cities to be places of “sanctuary” for illegals, reject any attempt to secure our borders, give driver’s licenses to illegals, allow illegals to vote in our elections, denounce the men and women who enforce our borders, and suggest that illegals, too, will get “free” healthcare under their socialist schemes.  Though we have been told for more than a decade that the illegal population here is “11 million,” a joint study last year by researchers at Yale and MIT estimated the actual figure to likely be in excess of 22 million, or almost twice what the MSM has been deceitfully reporting for more than a decade; yet we cannot ascertain what the truth is because leftist groups like the ACLU, using our own courts against us, won’t allow it.

Yet it is Donald Trump, we are told, who is to blame for the anger that ravaged El Paso, because Trump dared to object out loud to what has happened in this country.  If the source of the shooter’s anger is to blame for his heinous act, then I’ll let you be the judge of who has created the conditions for that anger.

The One Critical Debate Question No One Ever Asks

Every debate moderator:   “How do you plan to pay for your [socialist] proposals?”

In 2019, this is what passes for a hard-hitting question in political debates, and it reveals a dangerous transformation that the Left has successfully engineered in the American mindset.  200…150…100, maybe even 50 years ago, the real question would have been:

“What gives you the right to propose such things?”

And it would have – should have – been asked with an attitude of righteous indignation if not unabashed outrage. 

Not anymore.  Now that the Left has trained us, like robotic serfs, to think the way they would like us to think, we no longer question whether the elected “representatives” controlling the reins of government have the right to do the things they do, or to take the things they take.  It’s now just a matter of whether we can “afford” it and - trust me – the so-called “progressives” will always determine that their socialist schemes are affordable.  One way or another. 

This was never what the Founders intended, nor is it constitutional by any stretch of the imagination.  How is my welfare served when, after paying for my own college and helping my children with theirs, I am now forced to pay for the college of strangers?  If the leftist answer is that an educated populace is good for us all, then my response is that the societal benefit isn’t lessened when people pay their own way.  Turning us into a nation of thieves who think nothing of stealing from our fellow citizens does not improve the “general welfare.”  The same reasoning applies to the rest of the long list of “free” stuff proposed by the leftists who, for their own nefarious reasons, are obsessed with controlling our money. 

But because Republicans do not have the good sense to stand up and talk about rights, we are reduced to the useless job of arguing over how things are “paid for,” which means we’ve already lost.  The only questions now are when and how much?  (And the respective answers are:  Sooner than you think; and:  As much as they can get).  So I will repeat my favorite joke (yes, AGAIN) as an added way of shedding light for those who still don’t get it:

A man asks a woman if she will have sex with him for a million dollars.  The woman mulls this over for a minute and ultimately decides that she just can’t pass up that much money, so she tells him, “Okay.  I will.”  Then the man asks her if she will have sex with him for 50 bucks, to which the outraged woman angrily responds, “What kind of a woman do you think I am?!” 

The man says, “We’ve already established what kind of woman you are.  Now we’re just arguing over the price.”

By tempting us with “free” stuff at the expense of others, the Left has succeeded in turning Americans into whores and thieves.  Too many Americans no longer see ourselves as the rightful owners of our own money or of the labor we expend to produce that money.  We have stopped defending our rights, and we now just quibble over the price for our slavery. 

That’s the sad reality of America in 2019.

What is “Justice?”

The long awaited Mueller hearings this week revealed Democrats’ strategy for setting up a case to impeach Donald Trump based upon the crime of “obstruction of justice.”  Clearly they put their little heads together and plotted and planned their attack, citing damning details from the Mueller Report in carefully choreographed coordination and projecting their poster boards for the TV cameras so as to make the most powerful imprint upon impressionable Americans who tuned in for the show.  Not surprisingly the obstruction-obsessed Democrats didn’t bother to concern themselves with the second half of the equation:  Justice.  

Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines “justice” in multiple ways:

“…the maintenance or administration of what is just especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments…the administration of law…the quality of being just, impartial, or fair…the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action…conformity to this principle or ideal : RIGHTEOUSNESS…the quality of conforming to law…conformity to truth, fact, or reason : CORRECTNESS.”

Anyone who rooted for Harrison Ford’s character in the great movie, The Fugitive, understands a little something about the true meaning of justice.  Harris’ character was wrongly accused and convicted of murdering his wife.  When he fortuitously gets a chance to escape, he takes it, and then he sets about trying to evade the clutches of “justice” while he embarks on a mission to find the real killer.  And since this is the movies, Harrison does indeed discover and expose the real killer, and to the great satisfaction of the audience his exoneration and freedom are assumed.  But again, this is the movies, where people appreciate and understand justice because there is nothing at stake for them. 

Back to real life and the sad realities of human nature.  While Democrats were rabidly focused on obstruction, none of them seemed the least bit concerned or curious as to whether justice had been properly pursued.  While Republicans commendably pelted Robert Mueller with great questions about the nefarious origins of the investigation and the undeniably biased team that he assembled in pursuit of “justice,” Democrats were true to form in their absence of curiosity about those pesky details.  Nor did they share Republicans’ justified outrage at Mueller’s invention of the “not exonerated” standard that flies in the face of the American system of justice under which people are presumed innocent unless proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent as Mueller cunningly implied.  Only one side seemed interested in establishing whether or not the “justice” side of the equation had been satisfied, and it wasn’t the Democrats; yet without justice there can be no obstruction of justice.  I challenge anyone to argue otherwise. 

Democrats around the blogosphere are angrily demanding to know why Trump supporters aren’t outraged by the efforts of Trump et al to impede or stop the Mueller investigation.  I would suggest that they watch one of those great old movies where an innocent person is being railroaded by corrupt people in the system:  the lazy sheriff, the lying witnesses, the prosecutor who just wants another notch on his belt and the judge who’s on the take.  When you find yourself pulling for the innocent person doing whatever he can to fight the “justice” system, maybe then you’ll understand.

And now for today's lesson in propaganda and brainwashing....

The mean, intolerant, conscience-challenged and philosophically-confused co-owner of the sad little restaurant that earned its notoriety for refusing to serve White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders and her family has penned an especially nasty op-ed that the editors of the Washington Post, true to their leftist ideologies, found worthy of printing.  I would provide a link to the op-ed but apparently I have to subscribe to the WP, and I would sooner give my money to a drug addict than support leftist propaganda, so I’ll stick to what was reported in Fox News.

Per Fox:

“….Stephanie Wilkinson…wrote that ‘no one in the industry condones the physical assault of a patron’ before going on to argue that businesses are also expected to adhere to a ‘code of ethics.’

 ‘The once-ubiquitous idea that companies exist purely and solely to provide profit to shareholders is withering away like corn husks in the summer sun,’ she wrote, calling the new standard, ‘All are welcome. Terms and conditions apply.’

 Wilkinson also pointed to several other examples of Trump officials or Republicans meeting resistance while dining out, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and White House adviser Stephen Miller.  Wilkinson [who hereinafter shall be referred to as the Hateful Hen] said restaurant workers cannot be expected to ‘clock out of their consciences when they clock in to work.’

 ‘The high-profile clashes rarely involve one citizen fussing at another over the entrees. It’s more often a frustrated person (some of whom are restaurant employees) lashing out at the representatives of an administration that has made its name trashing norms and breaking backs. Not surprising, if you think about it: You can’t call people your enemies by day and expect hospitality from them in the evening,’ she wrote.

 ‘So when the day comes that the world feels returned to its normal axis, I expect we’ll see fewer highly charged encounters making headlines. In the meantime, the new rules apply. If you’re directly complicit in spreading hate or perpetuating suffering, maybe you should consider dining at home.’”

Not having read the original op-ed myself I am going to go out on a limb and predict that the Hateful Hen didn’t bother to provide any substance to the charge that conservatives “spread hate and perpetuate suffering;” and of course neither the leftists who manage the WP nor the sheep who bleat along in ignorant agreement will question the absence of evidence in support of these damning charges that supposedly justify the vicious discrimination of conservatives.  This is the new standard we are expected to live with, and to which I say in response:  F- that.

As I have previously noted, this latest leap in which the Left uses their irrational fantasies to justify their thuggery is simply this:  a manifestation of their contempt for their fellow citizens and a rejection of a system of government that gives anyone but them the right to decide how things will be.  “Hate” is a conveniently subjective term that the Left has latched onto for this very reason.  They can define it any way they want….any way that justifies their egregious and tyrannical behavior.  The bottom line is this:  they want power and control and they want it now.  They don’t recognize any opposition as legitimate – the Constitution be damned – and if they have to destroy the very essence of America’s soul to get what they want then by God that is what they will do.  The mentality is genuinely dangerous.

The great irony is that if anyone is justified in being angry and intolerant it is conservatives like my friends and I who are forced to watch in outrage while leftist Democrats stand at their podiums and arrogantly presume the right to use the power of our own government to steal from us in order to provide “free” handouts for everything and anything in exchange for votes, pitting one American against another, with no fear of the kind of retribution the Hateful Hen encourages against conservatives.  We are expected to be respectful while they pander to freeloaders and trespassers, using our money and risking our security. 

If anyone should be chased out of restaurants and the public arena, Ms. Hateful Hen, it’s you and your kind. 

I, for one, am hoping that day comes soon.

I’m short on time today but I just want to comment on how rich it is to see people like wealthy actor Danny Glover and her highness Sheila Jackson Lee demanding reparations because America’s past history of slavery has robbed them of the chance for success in life. 

Yes, it’s really sad that Glover and Jackson Lee couldn’t make anything of their lives…….

Breaking News: Turnip Enters Race for Democrat Nomination in 2020!

In a history-making move, a turnip has just become the 23rd Democratic presidential hopeful, announcing his/her decision today to join the vast field of 2020 candidates vying for voters’ attention.  The turnip, who goes by the name “Turnip,” was born and raised on a farm in rural Wisconsin and promises to bring a unique perspective to the race according to campaign staffers who interpret for the voiceless candidate but who prefer to remain anonymous.  According to our investigative sources, the turnip’s campaign is being heavily funded by a mysterious non-profit, Root Vegetables for Democracy, which in turn is overseen by The Society of Open Vegetables, a subsidiary of The Voice of Vegetables Project, which is said to be quietly funded by a Hungarian-born billionaire.

Within just hours of its announcement, the campaign had sold millions of “Turnip for 2020” t-shirts and without uttering a single word the turnip had surpassed 21 of the previously declared candidates to become second only to candidate Joe Biden.  Experts say that Biden will have his work cut out for him to match the excitement that Turnip brings to the campaign and to stay ahead of Turnip as campaign donations are flooding in at a record pace.  Many Democrats, it seems, are anxious to be part of the Turnip revolution.

Naturally this leads to questions and concerns as to how the turnip might fare against Donald Trump.  Not to worry, say the experts!  “It’s all in the marketing,” insists a top Democrat strategist.  “You cannot overstate the ease with which Democrat voters love to idolize anything seen as kind of being, well…out there, even if the leadership skills are questionable.  While other voters might dismiss a mindless vegetable out of hand, Democrats believe their tolerance for diversity demonstrates how much more open-minded they are, so I think the turnip has a respectable shot.”

Are Democrats worried about what the future looks like with a turnip in charge?  “No!” is the resounding answer, as the crowd begins to chant, “Turnips are people too!”

Hope and change is alive and well in the Democrat Party.

Abetting Illegal Immigration is the Democrats’ Way of Burning America Down

Whenever I see news clips, documentaries or movies depicting the horrors of civil war I am inevitably shocked at the wonton destruction people are willing to commit in their pursuit of power and control.  As the culmination of decades or centuries of man’s labor, sweat and ingenuity are reduced to ugly piles of rubble and burning embers, the senseless waste and loss are sickening to me, and that is to say nothing of the tragedy of lost lives and wasted lifetimes.  A similar self-inflicted ruination is what I see occurring in America’s strangely partisan battle over illegal immigration.

Irrespective of any insincere lip service they might pay to the ideals of democracy, elitist Democrats want control of this country and are determined to get it one way or another, even if it means setting the nation figuratively on fire by tying our hands against an onslaught of massive illegal immigration.  As I write this our country is being, in the infamous words of Barack Obama, transformed by a continuous inflow of people whose cultures and socio-economic backgrounds don’t typically conform to the culture and backgrounds that makes Americans who we are.  Leftists might scoff disapprovingly at those words, but if you want to know where the truth lies just ask the scoffers if they take care to ensure that their children aren’t hanging around with the “wrong crowds,” because every parent understands how quickly our years of advice and mentoring are forgotten when our impressionable children are placed in a circle of influence with those whose values are far different. 

Democrat leaders who stand in the way of fixing our illegal immigration problems in spite of the destruction to our cultural identity (as well as a long list of other problems) are no different than bad parents who let their children hang with the “wrong crowds” so that those parents can be free to pursue their own selfish interests.  Anyone who can’t stand back and see this destructive “policy” on immigration for the declaration of war that it is is a complete fool and a foot soldier in the Left’s army of useful idiots.  Democrats are using their power to block any sane response to illegal immigration purely for their own selfish political interests (i.e. to deny a “win” to Donald Trump), and in doing so they are no different than those who bomb and burn and otherwise destroy to get their way.  The only difference is that their destruction won’t be seen – really seen – for years to come, and it will be far worse.  Buildings can be rebuilt, but once the soul of a nation is destroyed good luck ever getting it back.

Joe Biden Has a Very Strange Definition of “Abhorrence”

"I believe history will look back on four years of this president and all he embraces as an abhorrent moment in time," Biden said.

So now it’s “abhorrent” to secure our borders against an ongoing invasion from uninvited people and to restore American prosperity and economic superiority in the world.  This is the pollution being shoveled into Americans’ minds by people like sleazy Joe Biden.

Mind you:

Spitting on the Constitution and unilaterally forcing Obamacare on us against the will of more than half the country – that was not abhorrent.

Scheming to use Obamacare to ultimately socialize healthcare in America and put us further down the road to economic slavery  – that was not abhorrent.

Packing the courts with activist judges so that the Left can pretend to still honor the Constitution while slyly doing everything in its power to circumvent it and force its will upon the population – that was not abhorrent.

Standing on foreign soil and criticizing your own country and the citizens you swore an oath to serve and protect – that was not abhorrent.

Constantly pitting Americans against one another with campaigns of identity politics – that’s not abhorrent.

Setting up a ruse to use the federal government to spy on a political campaign and undermine a legitimately elected president and administration – that was not abhorrent.

Aiding the Russian effort to sow discord in the U.S. by fueling the phony charges of “collusion”  - that was not abhorrent.

American prosperity, patriotism and security – those are abhorrent.
