The Meaning of Anti-Tea Partyism

“Take these son-of-a-bitches out!” said union thug/Teamsters president, Jimmy Hoffa.

All laughable hypocrisy aside, it actually pleases me to see the Left openly exposing their hatred of the Tea Party, since it clearly and unequivocally demonstrates what they stand against.  The Tea Party agenda is strait forward and quite simple.  They want a return to limited government as it was intended under the Constitution.  This includes the reinstatement of what are supposed to be our constitutionally protected freedoms, reduced government spending (read: lower taxes) that does not exceed our revenue, and a return to REAL fairness – not the Left’s convoluted definition of it.

There’s a good reason that such a seemingly reasonable agenda does not sit well with union thugs and others on the Left.  It’s because they have an agenda of their own, and it also is quite simple.  They want the transfer of wealth from “the rich” to the “working families” (i.e. them or their constituents) whom they deem to be more deserving of that wealth, and this theft requires the force and camouflage provided by a big, powerful, bloated federal government.  In other words, they want to cheat, just as they do when they play their little game of incivility tag, and their determination and sense of entitlement are no trivial matter. Once people have shown that they lack the good conscience to acquire what they want by honest means, there really is no telling what they are capable of as evidenced by what we see going in places like Mexico.  We are at war already, whether we know it or not.

  1. CW,
    Good post and spot on.

As you noted we have been at war. It has been a war regarding the direction of this country. This time our side has finally woken-up to that fact enmass. It is nice that the left has made it official.

They better keep the war verbal.

    Absolutely. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. These groups, including unions, the CBC, the NAACP, and others, are tethered to the democrat party. Their principles are based in socialism and they see the most liberal president in history circling the drain.

It is natural that they will strike back as hard as they can. Expect to hear from all of the democrat "plantations" in the near future.

  4. You wrote, "... and this theft requires the force and camouflage provided by a big, powerful, bloated federal government." BINGO BINGO BINGO BINGO The unions are all about power and control over 'the masses' (their union members). Indeed, the camouflage includes the 'we are standing up for the workers' mantra which in and of itself is a crock.

My compliments on your essay, CW.

  5. Union thugs are puppets. Black-youth flash mobs are puppets. Militant teachers are puppets. Federal regulatory bureaucrats are puppets. Chris Matthews and his ilk are puppets. New York Times editors are puppets. The New Black Panthers are puppets. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, et al, are puppets. Establishment-Republican congressmen and senators are puppets . . . but don't know it. Barack Obama is the puppet turtle atop the fencepost . . . and doesn't know it.

Top-down and simultaneous bottom-up implosion of America and capitalism. The puppetmaster? George Soros.

Yes, I expect we will be hearing from all the democrat constituencies and they will be using every trick they know – straw man argumentation, wordplay, lying (I think I just summed up Obama’s speech tonight) – in order to hold onto power as long as they can. There is absolutely no low they will not sink to because, as I’ve said previously, the future of this nation is of no concern to them. Their own power is everything. Things are going to get even uglier than what we’ve become accustom to.

  7. Mrs. AL:

Yes, the union leadership wants to take control away from the big, bad corporations and – surprise, surprise – transfer it to themselves. Not much good can be said about an organization whose purpose is to “empower” workers by corralling them into a threatening mob rather than encouraging them to increase the value of their labor through individual self-improvement. It’s no wonder that such an organization would be a magnet for leftists to lead it. Leftists either don’t understand or don’t care that the free lunch does not exist. As in everything they get their mitts on, they are willing to strangle the golden goose if it means they can take more for doing less.

Progressivism is an evil dogma but its real danger lies in the ability of someone like Soros who possesses the forethought, the resources and the complete absence of conscience to pull all the right strings at just the right time.

Are you familiar with the great Dr. Seuss book, “Yertle the Turtle?” This is the turtle that Obama reminds me of most:

“I’m ruler,” said Yertle, “of all that I see.
But I don’t see enough. That’s the trouble with me.”

In the story, the arrogant King Yertle is ultimately undone by an innocuous turtle named Mack. I like to think the Tea Party is our Mack.

  9. Liberal civility is a one way street. The Hoffa comments do not bother me, it only bothers me because the left claims to be the voice of reason and civility.

  10. I can surely hear old Jim Croce singing, " You don't tug on Superman's cape; you don't spit into the wind; you don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with the tea parties." Let's roll.
